The Legislation Office (FCO) Confirms Opening Hours during Easter

Notary News, Notary Public London

As Easter fast approaches many of our notary public clients still have urgent requirements for their documents to be legalised. Often this legalisation will require an Apostille to be obtained from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. The offices of London Notary Public M & D Notary Public will be open for all of the Easter period. To obtain an Apostille legislation we are reliant upon the Legalisation Office of the FCO being open.

Legalisation Opening Hours

The Legalisation Office will be closed for the Easter holiday at 12.30pm on Thursday 28 March 2013. The FCO has confirmed that the Legalisation Office will reopen for normal business hours on Tuesday 2 April 2013. As a consequence business customers using the Legalisation Premium Service must ensure that applications for same day Legalisation are presented by 11:00 on Thursday 28 March if they wish to receive their Legalised documents, with Apostille added before Easter.

Matthew Pryke, a Notary Public in London states “the Legalisation Office of the FCO is open all most up to the Easter period. However clients should note the drop off times on Thursday to ensure that Legalisation can be completed before Easter. As always we will work efficiently on our notary client’s behalf to ensure documents are notarised and legalised within the same day.”

London clients requiring notary and legalisation services should contact Matthew Pryke for further details or a Legalisation fee quote on www.mdpryke-notary.com or 020 7355 6019.
