London Notary Public Fees

Notary fees are a key consideration when selecting a Notary Public in London. As a Notary practice in London we appreciate the need to provide notary public fee quotes that are clear, competitive and provide value for money. Like many of the London Notary Public practices, M D Pryke Notary Public charges fees at a fixed Notary fee per document at the rate of:

  • £85 for the first document notarised; and
  • £35 for each subsequent document notarised.

There is no VAT charged on these Notary Public fees, which for individuals offers a useful saving. We are proud to offer these Notary fees to our clients in the knowledge that the Notary fees have not been increased for the past 3 years.

The level of Notary Public fees are not fixed or set by the Faculty Office, with each Notary Public practice free to determine what it considers to be a reasonable fee, for further details please refer to my London Notary news page.

There may be legalisation fees or disbursements to pay to third parties, such as the Foreign Office, Embassy or Consulate. For further details of the legalisation fees charged by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office please refer to the FCO’s website.

London Notary Public fees for more complex matters can be charged on a time basis at the rate of £300 per hour. This London Notary practice will be pleased to provide a specific fee quote for particular situations and where several documents have to be dealt with, as fees are likely to be reduced.

To obtain a full notarial fee quote simply contact London Notary Public practice M D Pryke Notary Public using the contact details included on the Contact page. There will be a helpful and experienced notaries team awaiting your call or e-mail.
