Transport for London has confirmed that Oxford Circus tube station will be closed due to the need to safely manage the large crowds expected to attend the switching on of Christmas Lights on Oxford Street. Transport for London has indicated to Notary Public Matthew Pryke that the station will operate as follows:

1530: | Open for exit and changing trains only |
1600: | Closed. Trains not stopping |
No later than 1930: | Open as usual |
