Notary Public Charity Cycle raises £99,000

Charity, London Notary Public, Notary Public London

During 2012 London Notary Public Matthew Pryke, along with 45 other cyclists, took part in a charity bike ride from Paris to London for Guts in Motion.  Guts in Motion is a charity that raises awareness and much needed funds for Crohn’s and Colitis in Childhood.  The event took place in less than ideal conditions with the cyclists experiencing heavy rain for much of the journey through France.

More importantly however the charity cycle ride raised £99,000 for this excellent cause.  The money raised by the Paris to London ride will be used by the charity to continue to fund research into these debilitating illnesses and also further campaigns to raise awareness about these illnesses.

Notary clients may remember that Matthew Pryke undertook a similar charity cycle ride in 2010 and 2011.  Matthew is absolutely delighted that the event this year has raised well in excess of the £60,000 target which had been set by the charity and cyclists taking part.

Matthew Pryke comments “As a Notary Public practice based in London’s West End we take an active role in a number of charitable events.  This 180 mile cycle was a good challenge, particularly given the inclement weather we encountered.  It was all made worthwhile when it was announced earlier this week that we had raised £99,000 for this wonderful charity.  So much so that I may even take part in the event next year!”.

Later this year Matthew is undertaking the 3 Peaks challenge and an Ironman 70.3 in Prvence. For further details regarding the charitable work undertaken by this Notary Public London practice please contact Matthew Pryke on 0207 636 4422 or contact us via our website www.mdpryke-notary.com.
